Day 1 (Bus transfer OSL – Oslo City)

Day 2 (No bus) - Oslo
Breakfast
09:00 Pick up for Oslo Sightseeing.
Visiting Bygdøy, Boat trip from Oslo Pire in front of the City Hall. Visiting Viking Ship
and the Polar Ship “Fram”. Packed lunch/pick nick at the Folk Museum.
Returning with boat back to the Town Hall.
Optional afternoon - Oslo Walk, visiting the museum of the famous painter Edward
Munch or National Gallery + The Opera.

Day 3 (bus) - Oslo

Breakfast
09:00 Pick up for Oslo Sightseeing with bus. Visiting “The Sculpture Park of Vigeland”,
visiting the Holmenkollen Ski jump.
Lunch at Frognersetra with spectacular view over Oslo City.
Returning to hotel.
Optional afternoon - Visiting the “Akershus Festning”, the old castle and feeling the
Scandinavian atmosphere at “Aker Brygge”.
Farwell Oslo Dinner at the harbor side on Aker Brygge

 

Day 4 (bus) – Oslo – Langedrag – Fagernes
Breakfast
10:00 Pick up buss.
We are heading westwards, first stop after approx. 3 hrs. at “Langedrag Nature Park” Here you will meet the typical animals from the Norwegian fauna. Such as moose, wolfs, polar fox and many others. On the way, we will pass through lovely nature, partly agricultural and forest. The last lap will take us over the mountain, from one valley to another, partly through national parks. In particular, the mountain part is very scenic. In early evening, we will arrive in Fagernes, a small and picturesque village, just outside the most famous national park in Norway – Jotunheimen.

Day 5 (bus) – Fagernes – (Tyinholmen) - Vossevangen

 Breakfast09:00 Departure.

After a good night sleep by the shore of “Strandefjorden”, the bus driver will take us through the heart of the blooming, agricultural and open valley “Valdres”. This has been the main connection, for five centuries between Oslo in the east and Bergen in the west. “The King Road” is named after King Sverre that went this way with his men in 12th. hundred century. Parts of his path is restored and those who like can walk a part of it. Afterwards and around another 60 minutes ride, we’ll reach the heart of the National Park of Jotunheimen.
Light lunch at Tyinholmen Turiststuer, enjoying the spectacular landscape and taking pics.
Departure
We are now in the midle of our “cross country” trip between east and west and after crossing “Filefjell” we’re going “down west” along the Laerdal River. Maybe we’ll spot someone fishing salmon from the this famous river.
Short stop for River photos& seeing “Borgund “Stavkirke”.
Stop for photos in Flåm
Stop on the spectacular view point on Stalheimskleivene.

Day 6 (Bus) Vossevangen – Bergen
09:00 Breakfast
10:00 Departure.
We’re arriving in Bergen for lunch. and you can spend it as you want. From your centrally situated hotel everything is easily reachable.
After Lunch, Guided town walk in Bergen with a visit at Fløyen.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 (Bus) Bergen – Larvik – Hirtshal (DK) Boat - Skagen

08:00 Departure to Larvik
We’re heading eastwards to Larvik over Haukelifjell on the edge of Hardangervidda National Park. On the way to the east, we’ll make stops at Haukelsæter and Seljord. Larvik will be the final destination in Norway were we would board the ship and have a smooth voyage over Skagerak to Fredrikshavn in Denmark.
Arrival in Hirtshals. After a short drive (49km) we will arrive at the hotel in Skagen.

 

Day 8 (BUS) Skagen - Århus

9:00 Breakfast
10:00 Sightseeing in Skagen.
Skagen Museum Skagen is the birthplace of the Skagen Painters, an artistic enclave that appeared in the area at the end of the 19th century. The ever-changing light, cosy fishing villages and uncompromising nature proved their main inspiration.Skagens Museum features over 1,800 works from Danish and international artists, roughly covering the period from the 1870s to the 1930s. The works on display not only showcase paintings by famous Skagen Painters such as PS Krøyer and Anna Ancher but also give an insight into the culture and
life of the people living in the artist colony.
Brøndum´s Hotel is situated just opposite Skagen Museum and was the favourite restaurant of the painters from Skagen, and it still has the cosy atmosphere.
Den Tilsandede Kirke Wandering dunes have shaped Skagen for centuries. The effects of the constant shifting of sand can be seen clearly at Saint Laurence church, also known as the Buried Church. Today only the church tower is visible
Råbjerg Mile At Råbjerg Mile you can experience Northern Europe’s largest wandering sand dunes, moving at around 15m per year straight across the tip of Skagen, laying to waste anything in its path.
Departure from Skagen late in the afternoon. After about 2 hours drive (200km) we will arrive in Århus

Day 9 (BUS) Århus- Copenhagen

“Aros” Enjoy a Michelin experience in Aarhus at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. ARoS is the main art museum in Aarhus and one of the largest museums in Northern Europe. On the roof of ARoS you can also visit Your rainbow panorama from here you can move around in a 150 meter long, circular panoramic path with 360º views of the surrounding city. ARoS has two Michelin-stars in the Michelin attraction's guide
“Den Gamle By” (The Old Town) is a perfectly unique attraction in Aarhus for the whole family to go on fascinating journey back in history. The museum is awarded the maximum three stars in the Michelin Travel Guide. Here you will meet people dressed and acting as folk at the end of the 19th century, and also as how people lived and worked in 1927. You can also take a walk through a town district from 1970s' Denmark, complete with streets, townhouses, shops, backyards, and workshops re-erected exactly as they stood in the past.
“Moesgård Museum” The past is brought to fascinating life at the Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus. Moesgaard Museum has two Michelin stars in the Michelin attraction's guide. The Moesgaard Museum is a huge attraction not only because of the architectural design of the museum and the exhibitions, but also due to its location in the beautiful natural surroundings in south of Aarhus, overlooking the woods and sea.
Late in the afternoon we will cross Storbæltsbroen on our way to Copenhagen
(300km,) where we are going to spend our last nights in Denmark.

DAY 10 Copenhagen

10.00 Sightseeing in Copenhagen.
In Copenhagen you will find that there are lots of different ways to experience the city. Walk, drive, sail, bike or eat your way through Copenhagen. With a private local guide and some good story-telling, you will learn more about the city than on your own. Go with a classic tour of the major attractions in Copenhagen or find a themed tour to match your specific area of interest
The Little Mermaid. At Langelinje Pier you will find one of Copenhagen's most famous tourist attractions: The sculpture of The Little Mermaid. 23 August 2013 she turned 100 years old
Amalienborg Palace is a must for anyone with a taste for royal history and the life of Denmark’s royal family who still resides inside the palace
Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen is a must for all visitors to the city, young and old. Tivoli is located just a few minutes walk from City Hall, and with the Copenhagen Central Station as its nearest neighbour it is very easy to get to.
Strøget. Copenhagen's largest shopping area is centered around Strøget in the heart of the city. Strøget is one of Europe's longest pedestrian streets with a wealth of shops, from budget-friendly chains to some of the world's most expensive brands
Nyhavn Especially during summer Nyhavn is the perfect place to end a long day. Have dinner at one of the cosy restaurants or do like the locals and buy a beer from a nearby store and rest your feet at the quayside
Christiansborg Palace, located on the tiny island of Slotsholmen, contains the Danish Parliament Folketinget, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of State.
The Danish business community marked the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II's 50th birthday in 1990 by ordering a gift of 11 tapestries. Bjørn Nørgaard painted the full-size sketches upon which the tapestries were woven. The tapestry series depicts 1000 years of Danish history.
Canal Tours Copenhagen is a wonderful way of seeing Copenhagen. Many
Copenhageners take the tour to get an opportunity to see their capital from a different perspective. During the tour, you will see: The Copenhagen Opera House, Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, the impressive Black Diamond Library, and, of course, the Little Mermaid. Make your departure from Nyhavn or Gammel Strand.
